Before you even think about going out and spending your hard earned money on assistive software for the Mac just take a few minutes to have a look around OS X. Over the next few days I’ll be looking at the features that come included with every new Mac.

I’m writing this article using TextEdit in 10.5.2 which (as I write) is the latest incarnation of OS X, with no extra third party assistive software only what's included with Mac OS. At the end of the all the articles I'll give an overview of my experiences using the Mac without any extra support (or cost).
